Ardley United 5 (Nicholls 3, 89, Ayris 39, 56, Bone 74) Shrivenham 0
Ardley United moved up to third in the Premier Division table after hitting five goals without reply – for the second successive home game – with an impressive rout of their Oxfordshire rivals on Saturday.
Murray Nicholls fired Ardley in front when he got on the end of Troy Bryan’s cross.
Shrivenham were unlucky when Anthony Packer’s header hit the top of the bar and Rory Sproule’s long range shot was tipped over by Ardley keeper Kurt Fox.
Jordan Ayris doubled their lead lead when he put away Lewis Travers’s super cross.
Rory Sproule spurned a good chance for Shrivenham when he shot straight at the keeper.
And they were made to pay when Travers and Bryan interchanged passes for Ayris to score his second.
Ardley went further in front when Danny Bone turned in an Ayris diagonal ball.
Nicholls wrapped it up late on when he cracked home a superb free-kick to complete his brace.
Wokingham & Emmbrook 2 (Bellis 50, Cooper-Clark 52) Wantage Town 1 (Butler 73)
Wantage went down to defeat despite a determined second-half comeback.
The visitors dominated the first half, but failed to take their chances, with Danny Keen going closest to scoring when he broke through on goal, only for the ball to bobble at the last moment.
After the break, Wantage switched off, with the hosts taking a 2-0 lead through Dave Bellis and Shane Cooper-Clark.
Tom Butler thought he had pulled one back on 67 minutes, but it was disallowed for offside. But minutes later, Butler did score when he blasted the ball into the net.
Wantage were cursing their luck five minutes from time though when Richie Claydon was brought down in the box, only for the ref to wave play on.
The visitors kept piling forward, but Wokingham held on.
Fairford Town 1 (Tertois 1) Abingdon Town 1 (Alder 39)
Ten-man Abingdon Town battled back from a goal down to return from Gloucestershire with a share of the spoils.
The visitors, who paraded new signing Lewis Coyle from Kidlington, went a goal down within 60 seconds when Jacques Tertois fired in.
Minutes later, Town were out of luck when Danny Thomas’s free-kick rebounded off the bar.
But they were level six minutes before the break when skipper Paul Alder drove home a left-footed shot.
On 42 minutes, Town were a man down when Louis George was sent off for two yellow cards.
Although Fairford created the better chances, Abingdon held out for the draw.

However, Ben Williams’s free-kick crept in at the far post to bring the sides level.
The hosts went ahead just before half-time when Daryl Harris fired in from close range.
After the break, Pete Horswell levelled with a 25-yard shot.
Although Adam Pendell’s penalty restored Letcombe’s lead, Sackey equalised late on.
Headington Amateurs 2 (Lockhart pen 13, DeGarces 46) Cricklade Town 1 (Moulden 42)
A spectacular volley from debutant Rui DeGarces was the difference between the sides as Headington took over at the top.
Neil Lockhart gave Headington the lead from the penalty spot.
Minutes before the break, Dane Moulden equalised with a low finish past Harry Jenkins.
Headington restored their lead when DeGarces volleyed home from outside the area.
The home side had numerous chances to add to their tally, but failed to put them away.
Malmesbury Victoria 1 (Field 12) Clanfield 3 (C Mays 19, 73, Blakely 57)
Craig Mays netted a double for Clanfield in a comfortable victory.
Clanfield were rocked when Mark Field gave the hosts the lead, but levelled when Craig Mays’s shot deceived the keeper.
After the break, Clanfield took the lead when Chris Blakely fired into the top corner.
Craig Mays made it 3-1 from the rebound after his penalty was saved by Martin Woodhouse.
Malmesbury were reduced to ten men when James McCarthy was sent off after a bad foul on Steve Olphert, but Clanfield failed to take advantage.
Launton Sports 1 (Cooper 12) Winterbourne 4 (Kitgrave 36, Knight 40, 62, Williams 60)
Basement boys Launton were unable to hang on to their early lead as they went down to a heavy home defeat.
The hosts went ahead when Callum Cooper fired in.
However, Tom Kitgrave and Ashley Knight saw the visitors go 2-1 up.
After the break, goals from Geraint Williams and Knight, with his second, compounded Launton’s misery.
