Oxfordshire duo Andrew Martindale and Mark Roche have been recognised as part of the Sky Sports ECB Coach Education Programme.
The pair received certificates from former England player and head coach David Lloyd during the recent npower Test match against Pakistan at The Brit Oval.
Martindale, from Witney, has many roles including Oxfordshire Under 14 manager and last year led a ground-breaking tour to Botswana and South Africa.
He said: “I’ve had a fantastic day and it was a nice surprise to win the south regional prize – it’s nice to be recognised.
“The great thing about Sky Sports sponsorship of the ECB Coach Education Programme is the improved availability and affordability of grassroots coaching.”
Roche, from Faringdon, is director of coaching at Challow & Childrey CC and has also worked with schools and Oxon representative sides.
He said: “It’s been a great day and it’s amazing to see how far coaching has come in the past 15 years.
“I would like to thank Rupert Evans for all his support and the Oxfordshire Cricket Board and Sky Sports. ”
