Banbury's Gary Boyd produced the best performance of his professional career to finish joint-second in the Czech Open.
Boyd, 23, shot a final-round 68 to finish level with Peter Hanson and Peter Lawrie on ten-under-par before Hanson sealed the title at the second play-off hole.
He told the European Tour website: “It was a little bit disappointing that I didn’t get the win in the end.
“But to finish losing in a play-off is a dream come true.
“I knew that my game was there to compete and this week it all seemed to click into place.”
The result saw Boyd rise from 290th to 217th in the world rankings.
