Elliott Osborne-Ricketts’s last-gasp strike earned Didcot Town a 1-0 victory over Bedford Town and their first win of the Premier Division season. Osborne-Ricketts hooked home from Andy Gunn’s header with virtually the last kick of the game at the Loop Meadow. Didcot had shaded the match and went close through Richard Witt and Morgan Williams in the first half. Previously-unbeaten Bedford improved after the break, and Callum Lewis hit the inside of a post with a 25-yard effort. But there was no time for them to recover from Osborne-Ricketts’s dramatic strike. Oxford City are still looking for their first win after being held 0-0 at home to Windsor & Eton – their third draw of the campaign. Windsor hit the bar twice through Justin Clayton and Fiston Manuella, while their keeper Delroy Preddie saved well from James Faulkner and Tommy Kinch. Harry Harding impressed for City, with his free-kick almost setting up Michael Hector and then later testing Preddie with a decent effort. Banbury United have also to break their duck following a 3-1 defeat at Halesowen Town. Michael Nardiello headed Halesowen into the lead after Banbury keeper Joe Murrell missed the ball. Daryl Taylor gave the Yeltz a 2-0 half-time lead after being set up by former Aston Villa striker Stefan Moore. Banbury’s Adam Learoyd went close before the break, while Jason Taylor’s header gave them hope on 66 minutes. But their former player, David Stone, wrapped up the points on 83 minutes.
