Mark Middleton took 8-26 from 18 overs – but finished on the losing side.
Challow & Childrey 2nd were restricted to 100-9 by leaders Great & Little Tew 2nd, Kevin Taylor taking 4-15.
Justin Parker’s 35 then proved crucial as, despite Middleton’s best efforts, Tew scrambled to 101-9 and are four points away from the title.

Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd look set to finish second after drawing with Didcot.
Matthew Jones took 7-60 in Shipton’s 184-9, Christian Brain hitting 50 and Jerry Senior 47.
Simon Pritchard then made 51 and Anthony Prior Wandesforde took 4-29, but rain stopped play 30 minutes early with Didcot on 103-6.

Ed Smith hit 85 and Jonathan Ponsford took 5-79 as Banbury 3rd reached 185 at home to Tiddington 2nd. Smith then took 3-32 as Tiddington struggled to 94-5 in reply.

Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd are sure to finish bottom after they crashed to a 73-run defeat at home to Bledlow Ridge 2nd.
Ridge closed on 162-7 after Dave Wood hit 32 not out and James Holton took 3-44.
David Maunder (7-35) then ran through the card to reduce Nondies to 89 all out.

James Timmis took 4-10 and James Fowler 4-20 as Brackley dismissed hosts Thame Town 2nd for only 85.
Thame had been 59-1, but Stephen Beard’s dismissal for 34 sparked a collapse.
Three early wickets gave Thame hope, but Fowler (34no) held his nerve as the visitors won by seven wickets.
