OCA League - Divisions 1-4
Shrivenham maintained their challenge for the Division 1 title when they edged past Marcham by three wickets on Saturday.
Batting first, Marcham were shot out for 128 as Adam Tucker took 4-12 from 12 overs.
Matthew Pearcey (35) led the way in Shrivenham’s reply as they reached 129-7.
Horley were denied victory by wet weather when they had Westbury in real trouble.
Dave Taylor (56) saw Horley to 187-8, and Westbury were 39-6 when rain stopped play.
Tetsworth posted a rare victory as they defeated Garsington by 55 runs.
Philmore Miller hit 62 in Tetsworth’s 175-5, then took 4-21 in Garsington’s 120 all out.
Great Horwood eased to a 55-run win against Freeland.
Sam Willett (72) and Simon Ridgway (70) helped Horwood to 220-6. Neil Taylor claimed 4-26 in Freeland’s 165 all out.
Minster Lovell secured promotion from Division 2 with back-to-back victories.
On Saturday, Minster beat Faringdon by eight wickets, Jack Simpson taking 3-34 to restrict Faringdon to 128-7.
Simpson then hit 42 not out as Minster eased to 129-2.
Promotion was secured on Sunday after a 64-run victory at Oxford Caribbean.
Minster scored 201 all out as Elliot Graham hit 70 and Andy Crawford 56.
Caribbean were then rest-ricted to 137-8, Nathan Harris taking four wickets and Jamie Cross three.
Charlbury edged out Wat-lington by one wicket.
Steve Strong hit 50 in Watlington’s 183 all out.
Charlbury lost two early wickets, but Cameron Geekie (36), Chris Barras (33) and Craig Moss (30) saw them home with four balls to spare.
In Division 3, Combe saw off local rivals Stonesfield by four runs.
Jonny Bourchier (67) and Chris Moore (60) saw Combe to 227-5. Stonesfield fell to 223 all out as Jamie Burns hit 49.
Eynsham edged to a two-wicket win against Oxenford.
Mark Haigh claimed 4-20 to restrict Oxenford to 199-9.
Matt Lake (38) and Haigh (30no) saw Eynsham to 200-8.
East Oxford 2nd put up a fine run chase to defeat West Ilsley by one wicket.
Mohammed Imran claimed 5-35 to help dismiss Ilsley for 197, Amit Rawal scoring 82.
In reply, Imran hit 41 not out to see East Oxford to 201-9.
In Division 4, Wootton & Boars Hill thrashed Britwell Salome by nine wickets.
Britwell made just 60, Dave Spilsbury taking 4-23. John Perkins (41no) then steered Wootton to 61-1 in 14.5 overs.
Hailey eased past Oxford Rescue by six wickets.
Paul King claimed 4-35 as Rescue fell to 140 all out. Joel King (56no) and Paul King (32) saw Hailey to 142-4 in reply.
Bobby Bowerman returned figures of 8-32 in Radley’s six-wicket win over Deddington.
Bowerman’s haul saw Deddington skittled for 93, before Darren Jones hit 41 not out in Radley’s 94-4.
