Oxfordshire have awarded caps to all-rounder Daniel Rowe and left-arm spinner Luke Ryan following their efforts in helping the county beat Devon and clinch third place in the Minor Counties Championship Western Division.
Rowe scored 90 and took five wickets in the match as Oxon fought back from being all out for 76 on the first day to secure an unlikely 74-run success.
Meanwhile, Ryan produced a second innings haul of 5-58 to complete a successful campaign.
“Daniel’s done very well for us especially in the last two games and thoroughly deserves his cap,” said Oxon captain Ian Hawtin.
“His second-innings 90 put us in with a chance of winning the game.
“He also shows his commitment to the county by coming to coach the kids on Sundays during the winter.
“Luke’s had a great season and he’s now one of the key members of the team.”
