Abingdon United boss Richie Bourne says his Division 1 South & West table-toppers face the biggest test of the season so far when they entertain Cinderford at Northcourt Road on Saturday.
Two straight wins have seen Bourne’s side go two points clear of second-placed Paul-ton Rovers.
But the former Wantage boss says Cinderford will be the toughest challenge yet.
“Confidence is high and we want to keep it going,” he said.
“Cinderford will be tough. You have to ensure you match their work-rate.
“Wantage played them many times in the Hellenic and they always had the edge, so it would be nice to put it right.”
Steve Davis (ankle) is a doubt, but Sam Elkins returns.
North Leigh give a debut to midfielder Toby Clarke when they travel to Almondsbury, seeking their first point of the season.
Manager Mark Gee said: “They have come up from the Hellenic and you have to be tough to do that.”
North Leigh will be without Andy McCabe (concussion) and Andrew Helby, who lost a specialist contact lens against Abingdon and has to wait for replacement to arrive.
Tomorrow’s line-ups Abingdon Utd (v Cinderford, home): from Beames, Elkins, Carnell, Franklin, Peirson, Organ, Melledew, Harper, Davis, Odh-iambo, Mills, Gardner, Younie, Horsell, Smith.
North Leigh (v Almondsbury, away): from Lonsdale, Barrett, Hutter, Hole, Huxley, Caton, Sanders, Clarke, Burnell, Posey, Collins, Reardon, Saunders, Smalling.
