Wolverton Town beat Banbury 2nd by three wickets to boost their chances of avoiding the drop.
The win means Town are almost sure to finish ninth, so they will be hoping that only one team has to be relegated from each division.
Andy Gosling was in the wickets again, taking 5-81 as Banbury were bowled out for 157.
Andrew Sabin hit 58 and Ed Smith 35, while Gosling was well supported by Jamil Raja (3-34).
Raja then hit 37 invaluable runs in Town's 158-7, which also featured 33 from Kabir Arif, and decent spells from Josh Hill (4-52) and Paul Hill (3-25).
Wolverton were docked one point for their slow over rate.
Wolverton Tn 24, Banbury 2nd 9
The other three games in Division 2 were all abandoned.
None of the matches in Division 1 reached a conclusion, so unbeaten Horspath will be crowned champions if they win any one of their final three encounters, starting with a home fixture with Cumnor this weekend.
