Bridgwater 0
Abingdon United 3 (Odhiambo 18, 42, Gardner 88)
Anaclet Odhiambo scored a double to give Abingdon United’s new boss Richie Bourne the perfect start with a comfortable win in Division 1 South & West.
John Mills saw a header hit the bar.
Minutes later, Abingdon went ahead when Odhiambo controlled a Chris Harper cross before shooting home.
Odhiambo found space and stabbed home his second just before the break.
In the second half, Abingdon’s defence stayed firm.
On 80 minutes, they were reduced to ten men when Chris Harper was given his marching orders for using foul language, but it made no difference.
Two minutes from time, Jon Gardner made it 3-0 with a neat chip.
