Heavy rain forced Shipton-under-Wychwood’s npower Village Cup semi-final away to Rowledge yesterday to be postponed.
Rowledge’s ground, near Farnham in Surrey, was flooded after Saturday’s thundery showers were followed by heavy overnight rain and the game was called off at about 8.30am.
The match will now be switched to Shipton this Sunday, with a 1pm start.
This is good news for Shipton, who are seeking a fourth appearance at Lord’s in the final on September 12.
Shipton are unbeaten at home in the competiton for 15 years.
