HARRY Anderson returned magnificent figures of 6-7, but finished on the losing side as Oxford Downs lost a low-scoring game against Buscot Park in Group B of the Oxfordshire Under 13 League.
Anderson’s haul reduced Park to 42 all out, but in reply, Downs were skittled for 20 as George Liddiard picked up four wickets.
Challow & Childrey moved into second place with a five-wicket win over Charlbury.
Matt Waite (32no) and Adam Mayho (30) saw Charlbury to 102-1, but James Smith made 30 as Challow reached 104-5.
East & West Hendred stayed top of Group C, beating Cumnor by nine wickets.
George Francis took 3-10 as Cumnor were restricted to 74-6, then scored 33 not out to see Hendred to 77-1.

- WITH three group winners already decided, the battle was on for the best runner-up spot and the fourth place in the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire Under 17 Honey-B Trophy.
And it was Banbury who emerged as semi-finalists as they thrashed Kidlington by 146 runs.
A magnificent 117 from Lloyd Sabin led Banbury to 200-1, while Kidlington managed just 54-2 in reply.
Meanwhile, Horspath posted an emphatic win over Bicester & North Oxford.
Jack Biggs hit 36 in their 113-6, before Dan Todd, Ceri Holmes and Biggs bagged three wickets each as the visitors were shot out for 89.

- YOUNGSTERS from Aston Rowant will hope to write their own Hollywood script on Sunday when they take on a celebrity-packed team from the Lord’s Taverners in a charity cricket match at Wormsley.
The club’s under 15s have reached the NatWest National Club Championship finals.
And four members of the squad will be part of a team that will face a Lord’s Taverners XI featuring Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes, as well as former internationals Neil Smith, Clive Radley and Gus Mackay.
