Oxford United have confirmed their lift-off by striking up a marketing partnership with Virgin Atlantic Airways.
And the great news for Oxford Mail readers is that we will be running a fantastic competition, in conjunction with the U’s, which gives one lucky fan at United’s home game against Bury on Saturday the chance to fly anywhere in the world with Virgin for free.
United chairman Kelvin Thomas said: “It is great for Oxford United to be associated with such a major brand as Virgin Atlantic.
“The partnership will focus on marketing and support and will benefit both companies.
“Virgin as a brand are known worldwide and it’s the first time that Oxford United have linked up with Virgin even though they are perceived as local to Oxford.”
Nick O’Farrell, global and multinational sales manager for Virgin Atlantic, said: “We are really pleased to be associated with Oxford United.
“The collaboration enables us to raise awareness of our brand and route network, support the club’s football objectives and create value from the partnership for all concerned.”
Watch out for a great competition in Wednesday’s Oxford Mail to win a Virgin Atlantic flight to any of their worldwide destinations.
