Rileys Social Club C opened up a 16-point lead at the top of the men’s Greene King ODDA Oxford & District Premier League with an 8-1 win over Section 1 opponents Prince of Wales.
Wins for Jon Jukes, Phil Addison, Stuart Dutton, who notched a 180, and Roger Haines saw Rileys go 4-0 up.
Warren Bright hit back with a 3-1 win, but Pete Hall (180) made it 5-1 before Rileys sealed it with a 3-0 pairs win.
Section 1 leaders the Angel suffered a dent as they lost 5-4 at Premier side Shears, though they still have a 12-point lead.
Section 2 table-toppers Cowley Workers crushed Three Horseshoes 7-2 to move seven points clear of the pack.
Nuffield Lounge beat Crown Inn 7-2 to stay on top of Section 3.
