Banbury 2nd crawled to 82-7 from 53 overs to secure the dullest of draws from their trip to Abingdon Vale in Division 2 of the MP Sports Cherwell League.
The home side’s batsmen had posted 212-6 to show it was possible to score at four runs an over on their Hales Meadow track.
Opener James Boon (47) got the hosts off to a decent start, then an unbroken partnership between Terry Groome (37no) and Jonathan Cummings (33no) saw them to a competitive total.
Graham Charlesworth took 3-35 to put Banbury in trouble, so they shut up shop.

Keith Arnold reeled off 15.4 overs to take 4-51 but could not prevent Banbury Twenty slipping to their fifth defeat of the season in a tense finish.
Leighton Buzzard Town had restricted Twenty to 184-9, with left-arm spinner Lee Selfe taking 4-67 from 17 overs and Tom Light 3-39 from ten. Mark Haupt continued his good run by hitting 62.
Phil Whatmore then struck 70 as Town reached the victory target in the 48th over with eight wickets down. Banbury Twenty 10, Leighton Buzzard Town 25.
Tiddington slumped to a shock defeat at bottom club Wolverton Town, who won for the second week running to give their slim survival chances a boost.
Alex Mackie was promoted from Tiddington 2nd after hitting a ton the previous Saturday and top scored again, this time with 37.
But his teammates struggled against Andy Gosling (4-20) and Haroon Malik (3-39) before being bowled out for 119.
The hosts also struggled to score quickly, but Robert Ford's 32 set them on the way to 123-5.
Wolverton Town 25, Tiddington 6.
Tanveer Nadeem hit 51 and Stafford Sansome 35 as Twyford managed 186 after being put into bat at Long Marston, for whom Mike Lyons and Pete Toovey both claimed 3-50.
The weakness of the visitors’ bowling attack was exposed again as Mark Green crashed 72 and Harry Bowles bludgeoned 70 in Marston’s 190-4, which came from only 27.5 overs.
