South Oxfordshire and West Oxfordshire tied for top honours at the fifth annual Oxfordshire Youth Games.
The South and the West both won four of the 11 sports that featured in the games.
The South starred in racketball, high 5 netball, under 19s rugby and athletics, while the West led the way in football, year 5/6 rugby, cricket and tennis.
Third place went to Team Oxford, who triumphed in badminton and girls and boys’ basketball.
More than 800 youngsters, aged from seven to 18, took part, with Cherwell and Vale of White Horse also represented.
The majority of the sports were held at the Oxford University Sports Complex, Iflley Road, with the netball and basketball hosted by St Gregory the Great School on Cricket Road.
There was also an entertainment zone where the youngsters were able to take part in a variety of activities in between sports.
It may have been one of the hottest days of the year, but the toboggan run created by the SNO!zone Milton Keynes proved very popular.
There was also the Jack FM megaslide, a penalty shoot-outs and soccer skills organised by Oxford City FC, plus activities organised by British Orienteering, the Falcon Rowing and Canoeing Club and Fusion Leisure.
Organiser Margaret Stevens said: “It was really good, We had lots of happy, smiley faces. I think they particularly liked the artificial snow we had.”
