Jason Plato slipped nine points behind leader Matt Neal in the battle for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship title after Sunday’s fifth round at Croft.
Plato, from Oxford, finished third in his Chevrolet in the first two races, before trailing home in 16th in the third and final race to stay second.
Standings: 1 M Neal 119, 2 Jason Plato 111, 3 G Shedden 100.
