Jonny Cater became the first batsman to score a double century for the Oxford Development team when he struck a magnificent 216 on the first day of their match against Northants Academy at Bicester & North Oxford yesterday.
Cater, who was born in Oxford but plays for Buckingham Town, was dropped on 46 and went on to score his runs in 346 minutes off 256 balls, hitting one six and 17 fours.
