Former Oxford City and Banbury United striker Howard Forinton will appear before a Football Association disciplinary board in Birmingham next month charged with breaching betting regulations.
The charges relate to when Forinton, 36, who now plays for Zamaretto Southern League Division 1 Midland side Woodford United, was at Redditch United.
Forinton has been charged on two counts, while ex-Redditch teammates, Matthew Clarke and Scott Rickards – face 25 and two counts respectively.
Under FA rule E8 (a) players are not permitted to bet (either directly or indirectly) on domestic matches involving their own team.
All three players have admitted placing bets on the Redditch United v Stalybridge Celtic game at the end of the 2007/08 season.
