A tenth-wicket partnership of 26 took leaders Cropredy to 237-9 and a dramatic one-wicket win at Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd.
Town’s imposing total of 236-6 had been largely down to openers Chris Hipwell (111no) and Tim O’Leary (51), who put on 123 for the first wicket.
Geoff Barratt (51), Wayne Hazel (38) and Luke Cherry (35) led the fightback, but Alfie Ruston (3-40) and Gareth Benger (3-57) reduced them to 211-9 before the thrilling climax.
