Hanborough’s decision to field first at home to Aston Rowant 2nd backfired in spectacular fashion as they were hammered by 157 runs.
Rowant racked up 242-6 from their 53 overs, with Adam Muttit hitting 57 and Mark White 52 not out.
Mike Dove’s 30 only staved off an inevitable defeat as Tim Foster (6-29) and Ryan Dutton (4-52) bowled out the hosts for 85 to keep their side second in the table.

Oxford Downs 2nd remain one point behind Rowant in third after their five-wicket win at Bledlow Village.
Ryan Chapman’s 82 gave Bledlow hopes of building a large total, but Matt Lee (4-49) and Steve Roberts (3-48) bowled them out for 160.
Tim Sutton then hit 91 and Paddy Daniel 41 not out as Downs eased to 163-5.

Pierre Lefort took 5-37 and Darren Gordon 3-21 as Oxford 3rd were rolled over for 89 by Witney Mills.
The visitors wasted little time in reaching 90-0, thanks to Ross Morgan (50no) and Pete Claridge (35no).

Kingston Bagpuize fell to another heavy defeat, this time at Great Brickhill.
Bagpuize could muster only 108 before being bowled out, Oliver Young making 37.
Pete Hastings (4-16) and Lee Morgan (4-27) did the damage for the hosts, who then cruised to 109-3.

Dinton 2nd stay top after seeing off Bledlow Ridge by seven wickets.
Sam Rolfe top-scored with 52 in Ridge’s 178 all out, while veteran spinner Simon Kempster took 4-68.
Matt Kelloway (76) then helped the hosts reach 181-3.
