Oxford United are to face Championship side Leicester City in a pre-season friendly at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday, July 24.
The clash with the Foxes is their first home friendly and is followed by the visit of a Manchester United XI on Tuesday, July 27.
The youth development game between an Oxford United XI and a Celebrity All Star team has been moved to July 31 from July 9 to give the grass on the pitch more growing time.
Nigel Pearson’s Leicester had hopes of promotion to the Premier League only to see them dashed in the play-off semi-finals by Cardiff.
United’s pre-season campaign is now complete, kicking-off with a visit to Didcot Town on July 13 before Chris Wilder’s side head north for their trip to Scotland.
