Promising City of Oxford swimmer Elizabeth Oliver, 13, bagged two national qualifying times in the South East England age group championship at Crawley.
Oliver touched third in the 800m freestyle clocking 9.37.97 secs and fifth in the 200m freestyle (2.13.56) to qualify for the national championships in August.
She also came fifth in the 400m freestyle in a time of 4.40.83, fifth in the 400m medley (5.21.11), sixth in the 200m medley (2.34.94), seventh in the 100m freestyle (1.02.35) and tenth in the 100m butterfly (1.11.87).
These performances made her the sixth best all-round 13-year-old-girl in the region.
Clubmate Thomas Panton, 14, claimed two third places in the backstroke events of 100m (1.05.55) and 200m (2.21.39). He added further personal best times when coming fourth in the 100m freestyle (57.65), fifth in the 400m freestyle (4.25.99) and ninth in the 200m freestyle (2.07.68). He was the eighth best all-rounder in the 14 year--old boys section.

Boys: Jack Gosden-Kaye,14, 200m breaststroke 6th (2.46.55) and 100m breaststroke 9th (1.17.58); Nienke Lijzenga, of Abingdon Vale, struck gold with a record-breaking performance.
The 11-year-old came first in the 1500m freestyle in a time of 20mins 21.07secs, which broke Vale’s long-course record.
Clubmate Emma Pearce, 12, also excelled by taking bronze in a competitive 100m freestyle in 1.03.84.
Pearce was also a finalist in the 200m freestyle, in which she broke the club record, the 400m IM and 200m backstroke.
Vale’s Joseph Law, 10, also received some silverware, winning a plate for being among the best in his age group across all strokes.
He also broke long-course club records in 400m freestyle, 200m IM and 100m backstroke.
Other Abingdon records were broken by Michael Fabes, 11, Harry Basterfield, 12 and Niall O’Leary, 13.
Wantage White Horse’s Todd Giles, 12, took a bronze in the 1500m freestyle and also took part in the 800m and 400m freestyle.
Harry James, 14, came third in the 200m breaststroke and was sixth in the 100m breaststroke Emily Nisbet, 10, was sixth in the 200m freestyle and raced in the 400m freestyle.
Matthew Senior, 12, competed in six events.
Kidlington’s Amy Crisp, 10, performed well to come sixth in the 100m freestyle.
l Kidlington brought home a host of medals from an open time-banded gala at Witney.
Lizzie McLean, 15, won golds in the 50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke and 50m backstroke.
Kirsty Hoffmann, 15, came third in the fly and secondnd in the individual medley.
In the nine-ten age group, there were third places for Ella Cook, Esme Blackford, Lucy Parsonse and Chloe Ridewood.
Tori McLean came third in the 11/12 year breaststroke, while and in the 13/14 year age band, Emily Ridewood came first in the both backstroke and breaststroke.
