Andy Hemming’s fine 200 for Shipton-under-Wychwood propelled him into the npower Village Cup’s top 20.
Hemming’s double ton led Shipton into Sunday’s county final against Cumnor.
Ed Craig, deputy editor of organisers The Wisden Cricketer, said: “He’s right up there, with the 16th= highest score. But it would have been better if it was last year – we’ve had two other doubles in this round of the NVC.”
The highest score is 239 not out by A Wade of Goldsithney in 1992.
