Aussie Anthony Smith captured 6-66 as Great & Little Tew beat Bourton Vale by only two runs.
But Smith’s figures were not the best of the match – Vale’s Oxfordshire seamer Ryan Newhook had earlier taken 8-90 in Tew’s 191 all out. Harry Smith top scored with 55.
After tea, Charlie Smith (52) and Paul Lazenbury (36) kept the home side in contention, but Smith’s spell reduced them to 189 all out.

There was another tight finish at Bletchley Town, where Cumnor slipped to a two-wicket defeat.
Adam Cook’s solid 43 was the main contributor for the visitors, but once he had fallen Cumnor collapsed from 130-5 to 147 all out.
Town’s all rounder James Sprittles took 3-33 from 11.4 overs and then struck 42 vital runs as the home side recovered from 96-6 to reach 149-8 in the 45th over and so secure their first win.

Wicket-keeper batsman Dan King hit 74 and John Barrett 60 as Oxford 2nd eased past Challow & Childrey by five wickets.
Challow won toss and started well, thanks to Owen Dimbylow (53) and James Phillips (49), but they then subsided to 183 all out.
Ian Demain was the only home bowler to enjoy much success, but his 3-26 was not enough to avert his side’s fourth defeat, which leaves them adrift at the bottom.
