Banbury specimen hunter Mark Perisi has just arrived back in the country after a week’s fishing at Dream Lakes in north-east France, where he enjoyed some cracking fishing.
Travelling with three other anglers, Mark banked 11 carp ranging from 25.12.0 to 38.14.0, all the fish falling to Mainline Cell baits.
His top three fish were mirrors of 35.12.0 and 25.15.0, plus a grass carp that went a 38.12.0.
Bait size varied from 10mm to 20 mm and during the session, he went through 20kg of bait.
Mark was using a KD rig which was designed by Kenny Dorset and it is noted for its excellent hook-holds.
He used 15lb Fox Camo line with 25lb hooklinks with a small PVA stick of crushed and glugged cell boilie mix.
