Abi Currie scored a fine half-century as Oxon Under 15 girls thrashed Buckinghamshire by 125 runs in their latest ECB Under 15 County Championship clash at Ley Hill near Chesham.
A weak Buckingham-shire side won the toss and put Oxon in to bat, and the visitors proceded to dominate the match from start to finish.
Currie shared an opening stand of 60 with Juliet Gardner, before going on to reach her 50 with six boundaries.
Aided by 41 extras, 25 of which were wides, Oxon posted a good total of 167-7 from their 35 overs.
And that total proved far beyond Bucks, who crashed to 42 all out inside 15 overs.
No batsman reached double figures as Oxfordshire bowled tightly, Linsey Smith (3-14) and Laura Marshall (3-2) playing a starring role.
