Cricketers tasted defeat since June 2008 after going down to a shock 2-1 loss against Three Pigeons in the Premier Section.
With the sides level, Three Pigeons won the decider 34-33 to make it two wins in a row, having broken their duck last week.
Cricketers set 31 in the opener, but with a three-doll start each leg, Pete Dempsey replied with a six.
Paul Townsend did the same to give them a 39 total.
Pigeons then set 31 in the next leg, and despite a six from Townsend, Cricketers’ an-chor man Den Seller was left six to take the leg, which he did in style, whipping off all six dolls.
Pigeons set 34 in the decider, which left Seller needing six to tie the leg.
However, he was unable to repeat his feat as he fell a doll short.
Father and son Dave and Paul Townsend hit 15 dolls (6-5-4) for Pigeons while John Townsend clanged off 15 dolls (4-5-6) for Cricketers.
Pete Coates and Mick Berry both smashed off 14 dolls (6-3-5) for Red Lion who beat Rowing Machine 3-0, in a 32-20, 24-21, 33-20 scoreline.

Punch Bowl’s David Leopold hit a bakers’ dozen (5-4-4).
Ronnie Wade, from Red Lion Brill, bagged 15 do-lls (5-5-5) in a 3-0 success at Kidlington Sports Club in Section 3, in a scoreline of 23-21, 24-18, 23-15.
Only three dolls separated Cricketers A Littleworth and King & Queen in Section 4, but despite the closeness of the dolls, the latter emerged victorious.
The first leg was tied 22-22, which King & Queen won after a three-stick shoot-out, squ-eezed through in the next 18-17 before winning the last 24-22. l Democrats B have withdrawn from Section 11.
