KEITH Sheard recovered from losing his first game to help Morris Motors to a 4-2 victory over Democrats in the Oxford & District League.
Sheard lost 4,130-4,040 to John Patey, but scored 21,460 (break 13,840) in the second. Dave Bartlett top scored for Democrats with 10,250.
Corner House's Peter Farrelley (10,800 and 9,730) was the only player to get to grips with a tricky table as they defeated Masons B 5-1.
Jason Smith (1,900) was Masons' only winner after Mick Jones black-pegged.
