With the first and third matches halved, it was Darren Drew and Adam Corless's 2 & 1 win over Bob Stevens and Derek Thomas that was crucial.
Studley Wood now entertain Hadden Hill, while Frilford Heath travel to Tadmarton Heath, The Wychwood host North Oxford and Oxford City at home to Brailes.
Kirtlington 1, Studley Wood 2 (Kirtlington first): R Kennedy & S Welfare halved with S Bulman & M Haupt, B Stevens & D Thomas lost to D Drew & A Corless, L Kennedy & J Bason halved with C Drew & S Jenkins.
*A CHARITY day at The Oxfordshire hosted by TV star and club president Michael Parkinson raised £27,000.
The funds will be split between The Bishop of Simeon Trust in South Africa and The Faldo Trust.
