OXFORD United will have new shirt sponsors next season after it was announced Buildbase will end its ten-year partnership with the club.
Although they will continue to provide advertising support and have a corporate box, United’s longest continuous main sponsor will no longer have their name on the front of the shirts.
“We have really enjoyed our long association with the club,” said Buildbase director, Kevin Middleton.
“After ten happy years we are looking to introduce our name to a wider audience, but will be continuing our links with the club as we have strong local connections.
“The Wembley final was an incredible day for us. “To have our name on the shirts of the players and all the thousands of fans was a real honour. The occasion is one that we’ll all remember for a long time.”
U’s chairman Kelvin Thomas said: “We’d like to thank Buildbase for their loyal support.
“Since I have been involved with the club, Buildbase have been so supportive and I am really pleased that they were the sponsors the season we have got back into the Football League.”
