Paul Saddler was the only host club winner at Abingdon ABC’s end-of season dinner show at Didcot Town FC.
The light-middleweight Paul Saddler used his extra reach to claim a unanimous points verdict over Adam Steel, from Bulmershe.
Abingdon light-heavyweight Mark Cooke left it too late to redress the balance in his clash with Nathan Conville, whose extra precision gave him the first two sessions.
Light-middleweight Richard Gregory suffered his first defeat in three outings, as Foley ABC rival Jason Westcott landed the more precise combinations.
There were other host club defeats for William Cobb, bantamweight Jack Vockings, schoolboy southpaw Rowan Wadley, Connor Monaghan and Paul Blair, who lost a unanmous points verdict to Blackbird Leys teenager Tom Daglish.
