An innings of 81 from William Polito saw Oxfordshire Under 11s to a seven-wicket win against Magdalen College School in a friendly.
Magdalen batted first and posted an impressive 210-4 from their 40 overs with Niall Devaney (47) leading the way.
Jack Tomes was the pick of the Oxon bowlers, taking 2-13.
Oxon looked to be behind the rate at 54-2.
But a superb stand of 151 for the third wicket between Polito and Sami Khawaja (75) saw Oxon take the score to 205-3, before Polito hit the winning runs off the first ball of the final over.
Oxfordshire Under 13 girls slipped to a 13-run defeat against Hampshire in their opening ECB Under 13 County League fixture of the season at Kidlington.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat, and posted 157-5 from their 30 overs, aided in no small part by 74 extras!
