Steve Ferris caught more than 100lb of carp to win Beehive AC’s FA Cup first round match at Milton Pools.
Ferris landed 100.2.0 of carp to pole and paste for a convincing victory.
Chris Dingle was second with 74.12.0, also to pole and paste. In third place was Nigel Waters, with 69.8.0 to pole and corn.
Andy Benwell won the Predator Spring League despite not featuring in the final match at Pimlico.
It was tough going for the 18 who competed Fishing pellet long down the edge, Scott Miller (Predator) did enough with three carp and a tench to take top spot, weighing in 28.8.0.
Les Hill, fishing corn at 15 metres tight to an island, slipped his net under four carp worth 24.8.0 for second place.
Steve Malone was third with 23.0.0 of roach and rudd.
North Oxford AS were on the canal at Walton Well Road for a club match.
The winner was Maurice Winstone, pegged on the weeping willow, with 5.5.0.
Winstone netted five decent skimmers which he had on pole, alternating between punch and worm.
John Coleman was runner-up with 4.3.0, catching a nice skimmer plus a couple of perch using whip and fishing red maggot over chopped worm.
