Head coach Richard Williams refused to be down-hearted after Oxfordshire's 38-10 defeat by Dorset & Wilts in their County Championship Shield semi-final.
Williams said: “There were a couple of key moments that didn’t go our way such as Tom Clipsham’s disallowed try.
“That could have made the difference between us going into half-time 19-12 down and not 19-5.
“Full credit to Dorset & Wilts. Every time they got into our 22, they came away with points.
“We had enough territory, but could not take our chances.
“We made too many basic errors and that cost us in the end.”
