New captain Marl Skelton and Phil Chanel made unbeaten centuries to fire Horspath 2nd to a 95-run victory at Cumnor 3rd in Division 6.
Skelton (105no) lost the toss, but he and Chanel (124no) took full advantage of being inserted in Horspath’s 271-2 dec.
Dan Todd (4-34) and Mitchell Meredith (3-54) led the way as Cumnor were dismissed for 176, Dave Ackland top-scoring with 40.
Veteran John Finch took 5-20 as Oxford 4th thrashed Sandford St Martin 2nd by 113 runs.
Julian Lawton Smith (90), Tom Swarbrick (87) and Adam Hall (37no) made runs in Oxford’s 271-3.
Neil Cox compiled 46 in Sandford’s reply, but Finch and Arthur Muir (3-23) ensured a comfortable victory.
Nathan Perna claimed 6-28, but still could not earn Twyford 2nd victory over Wallingford 2nd in Division 7.
Ben Elkington made 102, Ken Cronshaw 94 not out and Lee Hodges 30 not out in Twyford’s 257-2.
Wallingford werre restricted to 137-8, with Stuart Edwards (39no) and Martin Ridley (30) their mainstays.
Richard Lambden and his son, Justin, starred as Banbury 4th defeated Oxford Downs 3rd by 155 runs in Division 8.
Lamben snr scored 86 in Banbury’s 273-8, then Lambden jnr took 6-31 as Downs were all out for 118.
