OCA League Divisions 5-11
DUNCAN Macdonald cracked an unbeaten 163 as Kilkenny beat Kidlington by 74 runs in Division 7.
Macdonald’s massive ton helped Kilkenny to 269-6.
In reply, Kidlington reached 198-8, David Berkon taking 4-62.
Mickey Phipps claimed 6-36 to help Stonesfield 2nd to a 66-run victory over Ducklington.
Stonesfield had posted 185 all out, before Phipps’s haul saw Ducklington bowled out for 119.
David Quinney scored a magnificent century as Horley 2nd defeated Minster Lovell 2nd by 74 runs in Division 5.
Quinney’s 123 helped Horley to 224 all out.
Minster were bowled out for 150 in reply, David Beck taking 3-32.
Cliff Spolander returned figures of 7-36 to help West Witney to an 86-run win over Great Horwood 2nd.
Patrick Smith hit 82 as West Witney posted 229-4, before Spolander’s haul helped dismiss Horwood for 143.
Youngster Paul Tyrer fell just short of a century as Kennington beat Uffington by four wickets.
Uffington posted 189-5, before Tyrer hit 96 as Kennington reached 191-6.
In Division 6, youngster Josh Kirk starred again for Shrivenham 2nd as his side beat Freeland 2nd by two wickets.
Kirk took 4-39 - taking his seasonal tally to an impressive 21 - as Freeland were bowled out for 130.
Alan Carter (42no) then saw Shrivenham to 132-8.
Harry Sutton scored 113 to help Stanton Harcourt to 231 all out at Garsington 2nd.
Ollie Pascoe then claimed 3-36 as Garsington were bowled out for 194.
In Division 8, Combe 2nd beat Chadlington 2nd by one wicket in a thrilling finish.
Jack Belmont took 4-28 as Chadlington posted 203-7, Richard McCabe hitting 78 not out.
But Combe sneaked to victory as Peter Neyroud top-scored with 48, Rupert Townsend taking 5-36 for Chadlington.
In Division 9, Neil Miles took 5-13 to help Faringdon 2nd to a 96-run victory over Kidlington 2nd.
Faringdon reached 208-6, with Kidlington being dismissed for 112.
Paul Turner took 5-12 as Watlington 2nd beat Oxford Rescue 2nd by nine wickets.
Rescue were shot out for 46, then Watlington reached 52-1.
