Fourteen-year-old Miles Hammond underlined his promise by featuring for Gloucestershire 2nd in their championship draw against Kent.
The St Edward’s School, Oxford pupil and Oxfordshire Under 14 spinner finished with figures of 15-2-76-0 after playing against many seasoned pros.
Oxfordshire’s Jack Taylor has regularly captained Gloucestershire 2nd this season, with Thame Town all-rounder Michael Beard also featuring.

“And with staggering new talent such as Miles, this success looks set to continue.”
