Bicester & North Oxford came within one wicket of beating Chearsley, but instead were licking their wounds in defeat.
Bicester’s 206-9 was based on Rob Humphreys’ 40, while Ken Baker bagged 4-49.
Neil Davies (95) and Nick Grimsdell (55) kept Chearsley in contention, and they scrambled the winning runs with nine wickets down.

Wallingford started the season on minus 40 points but are already ten in credit after a second win.
Alan Bowman took 6-37 and Trevor Spindler 4-62 to bowl out Cropredy for 178, Wayne Hazel scoring 41.
Bowman (62) then starred with the bat and with Rob Sessions (54no) helped his side reach 179-4.

Simon Howarth (3-8), Jack Meill (3-21) and Steve Slade (3-30) joined forces for Cumnor 2nd to dismiss Banbury Twenty 2nd for a meagre 88. Their total would have been even lower without Adnan Ahmed’s 33.
The hosts’ veteran batsman Ian Belcher then blasted his way to 43 not out as they reached 89-3.

Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd posted 222-8 at home to Buckingham Town 2nd thanks to Richard Raine (46), David Roberts (44) and Chris Hipwell (43).
But Michael Taylor (104no) and Ryan Spragg (41) led Buckingham to 223-7.

Kimble made 226-9 at Stokenchurch after being put in. Ben Mooney (114) and Phil Simmons (68) led the way, while Stefan Read took 5-58.
Arshad Latif’s 74 off 49 balls then paved the way for the hosts’ four-wicket win, sealed by Joe Brown (94no).
