MP Sports Cherwell League - Divisios 6-10
Veteran Dick Giles claimed 9-26 as Kingston Bagpuize 2nd defeated Stokenchurch 2nd by 46 runs in Division 9.
Dougie Phillips (47) and Paul Temple (34) helped Bagpuize to 165-9, despite Gary Pound taking 5-29 and Roy Brown 4-63.
Peter Langford (52) was the only Stokenchurch player to get going as captain Giles weaved his magic, but this may not be a career-best haul.
Bagpuize secretary Mandy Rodway said: “Dick reckons he took ten for something when he was very young against Marcham.
“He has just turned 60 and only six weeks ago he had cartilege operations on both his knees.
“Phil Hickman, who is another of our veterans, took the other wicket.”
