Damian Batt said it was an amazing feeling to help Oxford United get back into the Football League.
“It hasn’t really sunk in yet,” said the 25-year-old U’s defender.
“We did it the hard way (through the play-offs), but I am just so pleased.
“The occasion was big, but I wasn’t expecting the fans to be so incredible. It gives you such a big lift.
“I can’t wait to get back in the league, because I have played there before, so I have confidence in my own ability.
“But we just don’t want to rest on our laurels and stay in League Two, we want to aim even higher and keep up the momentum.”
