Champion trainer Mic-hael Peterson is taking up a dual attachment by joining Oxford’s sister track Hall Green.

Currently fighting it out for this year's title with Paddy Curtin, the Ludgershall handler has over a 100 hounds in his kennels – obviously too many to run regularly at Oxford.

He will supply the Birmingham track with 40 hounds and will join up on June 1.

Peterson bagged six winners at Sunday’s BAGS meeting and Curtin hit a five-timer on Saturday.

Trainer Johnny Mayo saw his charges, Special Caesar, Goldfinch Lady and Crossness, all receive outstanding performance awards after completing 100 races at Oxford.

The racing office rate Agent Ben as top dog and Nikitas Rose as top bitch. Top stayer is Shelbourne Lucy.

Lyrenn Mover, owned by Max Picinelli and kennelled with Tony Magnasco, won his second Derby heat in fine style on Saturday beating Moneygail Obamba by two lengths.

Nick Colton’s prospect Rising Ruby impressed with a 27.12 run at Monday's trial session, while triple big race winner Jolly Poacher sizzled to a 14.89 solo over two bends.

Oxford's legendary trainer Henry Kibble back at the track. Normally an ever present, Harry had to take some time off following an accident.

There will be a skeleton staff at the Stadium tomorrow. I wonder why? Oh yes, United are at Wembley!
