Striker Lee Steele was named player’s player of the year at Oxford City’s annual awards night.

The former Oxford United frontman plundered 23 goals for the Premier Division outfit after signing from Northwich Victoria last summer to lift the Bert Holt Memorial Trophy.

Former Republic of Ireland midfielder Dave Savage picked up the manager’s player accolade.

He was unable to make the night due to the death of his father.

The supporters’ player was Liam Malone, while James Knight was presented with the George White Memorial Trophy for young player of the year.

Oxford City Nomads’ Jermaine Ferreira won the players’ player and manager’s player of the season awards for the FTL Futbol Hellenic League Premier Division club.

Aaron Posey netted a hat-trick of awards at North Leigh’s presentation night at Witney Lakes Resort.

The former Witney United defender was players’ player, manager’s player and supporters’ player.

The B team’s Daniel Smith was manager’s player and also receiced a special award for scoring over 50 goals in a season.

The news was announced by chairman Tony Woodward at the Hellenic League Premier Division club’s awards night where Sam Belcher won both the manager’s and supporters’ player accolades.

Tom Malton was players’ player, while Richard Claydon won the top goalscorer award.

Groundsman Ian McCaig was clubman of the year, while reserve team boss Peter Hogan and Paul Wilkins, and clubhouse manager Darren Lister were given silver salvers for long service.

Witney United defender Lee Henderson pulled in more than 50 per cent of the votes to be named the Jim Reid supporters’ player of the year.

He beat Chris Harper and Andy Younie to the award.
