Oxford United manager Chris Wilder, his assistant Mickey Lewis and defensive coach Andy Melville took time out from their Wembley preparations to take on a Kidlington Legends XI at Yarnton Road on Sunday in the Terry Wiffen memorial match.
Luke Holden gave Kidlington the lead, before Paul Spittle levelled from the penalty spot.
Holden restored Kidlington’s advantage before Spittle completed his brace and guest player Greg Thorley got the winner in a 3-2 victory.
Former United players Les Robinson, Anton Rogan and Adrian Heath also played in the charity game.
Kidlington press secretary Simon Dickens said: “There was turn-out of around 250 people which was excellent.”
