Nat Watkins hit an unbeaten 65 to steer Abingdon to a dramatic two-wicket win over Chipping Norton in the Oxfordshire semi-final of the Lord's Taverners Cricket Colts Trophy.
Abingdon were reeling at 89-8 chasing Chippy's 134-8, which included a spell of 4-9 from Ben Read.
But Watkins, well supported by Freddie Howe (14no), saw Abingdon home with an unbroken ninth-wicket stand of 45.
In the other semi-final, Warriner (Bloxham) were shot out for 51, before Magdalen College School cruised to 52-0.
In the Oxfordshire Under 13 Cup semi-final, Faringdon eased to a 38-run victory over Burford.
Faringdon posted 137-6, before bowling out their opponents for 99.
In the quarter-final, Faringdon squeezed past St Birinus (Didcot) by two runs.
Robert Keat took 5-10 as Faringdon collapsed to 61 all out, but then St Birinus succumbed for 59.
St Birinius suffered further heartbreak in the Oxfordshire Under 13 League semi final with a four-wicket defeat by Bartholomew (Eyn- sham).
The Didcot school made 136-4 from their 20 overs, but then George Wagerfield (53) and Sam Walker (33) took Bartholomew to 137-6 with eight balls to spare.
Wallingford qualified for the Oxfordshire Under 14 League semi-final with a three-wicket victory over King Alfred's (Wantage).
