New signing Stefan van Dyk was the star for Oxford in their five-wicket victory over Radlett in their opening Division 1 clash of the season.
Van Dyk took two wickets and then contributed a half-century on debut as Oxford posted an easy victory.
With rain delaying the start, Oxford won the toss and asked the vistiors to bat, with openers Kabir Toor and James Lewis putting on 43 for the first wicket.
Lewis was caught and bowled by van Dyk and the seamer also claimed Toor, caught behind by Jonno Evans.
After this, wickets fell regularly as Radlett struggled to 129-9 – a further rain delay reducing the match to 85 overs.
In reply, Chris Sandbach fell for four when he was bowled by Shane Burger, but van Dyk hit six boundaries in a knock of 56 to set Oxford on their way.
It was left to Nick Ferraby to finish off the innings with a breezy 29 not out from 20 balls as Oxford won with five overs to spare.
Radlett were docked two points for a slow over rate.
