Home Counties Premier League: Kidlington captain Mark Strong is looking to out do an old friend when they host Bicester & North Oxford in Division 2 West tomorrow.
Strong used to play alongside Bicester batsman Daryll Woods at North Oxford before the clubs merged.
He said: "It will be nice to come up against Daryll again.
"I've played football with him as well, so it would nice to put one over on him."
Strong and all-rounder Duncan Bradshaw return in place of John Kitson and Mark Owen and the skipper is hopeful of impressing against rock-bottom Bicester.
He said: "When a team is in that position, they sometimes try a little bit harder.
"But we are playing well and with confidence. We are playing as a team now and getting it together.
"We are flying at the moment, but you never know, we have played bottom teams before and come unstuck."
Pakistani paceman Tauqeer Hussain faces Bicester for the first time since leaving them for Kidlington in the close season.
Skipper Ian Bryan says Bicester must start performing to escape the drop zone.
Saturday's eight-wicket defeat at leaders Farnham Royal was their fourth reverse in seven outings.
"Over the last two weeks availability has been poor and in this league, any weakness is punished," he said.
"Having said that the established players in the side have not been performing and we have got exactly what we deserved.
"We need to pick up and quickly, otherwise we will be looking at relegation."
Bicester make five changes with Shiv Talsania, Krishan Talsania, Charlie Blair, Steve Lewis and Adam Wade all dropping out.
They are replaced by Ben Chapman, Kingsley Went, Rory Lyon, Mark Fitzsimons and Lee Mason.
Spinner Kevin Crawford returns from injury as second-placed Thame Town travel to third-placed Wokingham, but Sam Lachlan is away on holiday.
Captain Adam Krol said: "It was another good win for us against Gerrards Cross on Saturday. We just have to carry it on really.
"Wokingham are back up in this league again and won last week, so they will be a tough team."
