Oxford kept up their impressive cup form with a seven-wicket win over Enfield in the Evening Standard Trophy third round at the Oxford University Sports Ground, Marston.
Already through to the last 32 of the Cockspur Cup, Oxford were again a different side to the one is languishing at the foot of the Home Counties Premier League.
An excellent display in the field saw Enfield dismissed for 143, with Stuart Hole and Philip Evans doing the early damage.
Veteran off-spinner Rupert Evans, in a rare first team appearance this season, conceded just 15 runs from his ten overs.
Leg spinner Shamilal Mendis also produced an accurate spell, before Adam Cook mopped up the tail with 3-4.
After losing Stuart Hole without scoring, Stewart Laudat (75no) and Philip Evans (59) shared a second-wicket stand of 125 to set Oxford on the way to victory.
When this was secured at 146-3, Oxford had a massive 21.2 overs to spare.
Now Pat Jobson's side are away to Walton-on-Thames in the last 16 on Sunday, July 9.
