ABINGDON Town manager Keith Stopps has appointed Ian Feaver as his director of football as the club prepare for their new Hellenic League campaign.
Feaver, the former Witney United and Bicester Town boss, was Stopps's assistant last season, but due to work commitments has taken on the new role.
This will involve him in helping to recruit new players as well as helping to bring through youngsters from the club's reserve and youth teams.
The new assistant manager is Dougie Graham, who has been involved with both AFC Wallingford and Oxford United, where he coached the youth sides.
Previously with Abingdon in 1998/9, Graham has an excellent knowledge of local football, and the club expect him to be a great asset as both coach and assistant manager.
A former Town manager, Stopps returned to steady a rocking ship last September, following the departure of boss Kevin Lloyd.
However, the side struggled in the Premier Division and at one stage looked as if they might go down.
But the side rallied towards the end of the campaign, and are now looking to improve things for the forthcoming season.
