DEFENDING champions Tadmarton Heath reached round two of the Knockout Trophy with a 3-0 victory over Shrivenham Park.
But it was not all plain sailing for the hosts who trailed in two matches before the turn.
Mark Hughes and Owen King pipped Trevor White and Dan Johns by one hole in the opener.
Andrew Mason and Ian Manning defeated Tom Chester and Martin Pook 3 & 2 to ensure victory.
Spencer Hallam and David Fletcher then saw off Phil Goddings and Ian Penfold by the same score.
Drayton Park, however, saw their hopes ended by a 2- defeat at Brailes.
Simon Berry and Graham Shirley claimed Drayton's only half against Chris Rose and Andy Sheffield.
The other matches saw heavy defeats for Dave Major and Richard Shayer and Andy Elmey and Joe Pep- perell.
